how to cure snoring?

omg im so loud wen it comes to snoring.
at sleep overs i get so embarrased when ppl have to throw a pillow at me to shut up!
i just want to be able to sleep quietly!
please help!
is there like and medicines i cant take or natural ways.
and please dont suggest snoring strips i dont want to have to wear one to a sleep over plus they dont work for me

pillow over the face always works! lol or elbow to the ribs like I do my husband to wake him up at night when he is snoring
